JUNIOR CHALLENGE LEAGUE
The Junior Challenge League was created to provide an opportunity to develop on-course skills in a fun, competitive environment. Our objective is to prepare junior golfers for tournament golf. We recommend that junior golfers have had some basic golf instruction.
SEASON END AWARDS
The league will consist of a 10-week season. A player of the year will be awarded in each age group upon conclusion of the Challenge League Season. The best five finishes from the weekly competitions will determine the highest point winner and player of the year.
Juniors ages 10 and older are placed on teams and play an alternate shot format for 9 holes.
PLAYING LEAGUE OPTIONS
You may join the league at any time during the season. The league will be grouped according to age and skill level. The 18 and nine–hole leagues are recommended for the experienced junior golfer and the three and six-hole leagues for the newer junior golfer.
LPGA GIRLS GOLF CLUB
The club is open to all girls ages 7-17. To become an official member of the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Club, girls need to complete a formal application and pay a fee of $10. Girls will receive an official goodie bag from the LPGA. There are themed activities scheduled throughout the year (there is a nominal fee to participate in the additional activities). Applications are available at Creekside Golf Course. Girls can join anytime throughout the year, but are encouraged to do so by June 4th.
